Know who's calling:

When your phone rings the virtual switchboard will optionally announce the call before connecting the caller. We call it a whisper. It might say "You have a call for Sales". You then press a key to answer. So you can use a different virtual switchboard phone number for each department.

If you operate more than one business, each can have its own number. The caller announcement whisper is also useful if you work from home and need to distinguish between business and private calls.

Track Advertising Response:

1. By monitoring the different call announcements such as "You have a call from Yellow Pages" or "You have a call from The Sunday Times".
2. By checking the number of calls received by each phone number on your account via a web interface.
