How
0871 Non-Geographic numbers work...
You
can have an adcall 0871 number connected to your UK land-line number (but
not mobile numbers).
When UK callers dial your
adcall 0871, your land-line number will ring in the normal way.
UK callers pay 10p/minute at anytime to call you via your adcall
0871number.
Your
adcall 0871number does not interfere with your own number, which will continue
to make and receive calls normally.
0871
UK Non-Geographic phone numbers are available free of charge with no set up
or rental charges. Nor are you charged to receive calls. The exception is memorable
numbers, which have a once-off cost.
Connection: 0871 numbers
can only be connected to UK 01 and 02 mainland numbers.
Royalties: In any month that all
your 0870/0871 numbers together generate a minimum of
500 minutes (1,000 minutes for 0870), we will pay you a royalty starting at 2p/min.

Call charges: To call 0871
numbers callers pay 10p/minute at anytime (including VAT). You
pay nothing to receive calls. Due to an Ofcom
decision, you must include the call cost in all publicity and promotional
material with effect from the end of 2007.
See who's calling: If
you have Calling Line Identification on your 01 or 02 number it will display the
caller's number unless withheld.
Please note that:
There
is no charge for changing destination numbers.
087 numbers cannot
be connected to numbers in the Channel Islands or Isle of Man or to 07, 08 or
09 numbers.
0871 can only be called from the UK.
We
do not offer a "follow-me" service whereby destination numbers can be
changed at will.
0871
numbers are intended to be used instead of geographic 01 and 02 numbers.
They cannot be connected to 07 mobile numbers.
